Sav has added a new range of conveyor belts, meshes, fabrics and adhesive tapes that are coated or impregnated with special PTFE and Silicon.
These innovative products have aramid or glass fibre inner structures and PTFE or silicon coatings, and are therefore supported by an aramid or fibre glass fabric tensioning element which is ultra-heat resistant, produced by impregnating with a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion fluid which is then dried and fired at high temperatures.
The result is a highly non-adhesive surface suited for temperatures from -75° C to + 260 ° C.
PTFE belts are also highly resistant to acids, alkalis and organic solvents, which therefore makes them ideal for food handling.


Polytetrafluoroethylene is a plastic material that is smooth to the touch, resistant to high temperatures up to 300 C°, used in industrial applications to coat surfaces subjected to high temperatures with low adhesion.
This material has the lowest coefficient of friction known, with dynamic friction measuring against steel of 0.04. The fields of application are linked to various industries, including lamination, adhesivation, hot melting, dielectrics, photovoltaic panels, heat-wrap packaging and food processing applications.
These products can be used for non-stick applications in moulds and in paint production and painting plants for recovery purposes.
